No one wants to read a blog that is built strictly for search engines. I try my best to be a little "different" which seems to always attract a few new readers.

Justin Wrights last blog post..Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico

Re: Blogging With Personality

Just like B said. there is a lot of personality in your blog. I think what drives me to blogs are the attachment I get from the writer. This makes it really interesting, not just facts, but your own thoughts. This post is quite incredible. I must make sure I inject a bit of personality in future posts.

I've been concentrating on quantity and content rather than myself. Not sure if there's anything of interest in 'me', but I'll certainly try.

Thank you.

Anthony

Anthony James Barnett - authors last blog post..Caravan dweller's £100,000 wedding

Re: Blogging With Personality

Gary - Yes! Build something around yourself. Gather people, fans, followers. Make them stick to you like peanut butter on the roof of a dog's mouth. It's all about blog magnetism.

Re: Blogging With Personality

"Its hard to have the faith sometimes in “Your Message”. Every blog I am a fan of has a picture of the author and a decent "About Me" page. I like the blogs that tell stories with their posts...and are built around a person.

Nothing more boring than a blog with just facts...I can go to Wikipedia for that type of content!

Rusty

Rusty - Fitness Black Books last blog post..Gaining Strength Through Periodization - Train Like a Soviet Athlete!

Re: Blogging With Personality

Thanks Jack, for the inspiration. I find myself in this situation. I have done the technical things to get my blog noticed by the search engines. Now I must define who I am. Its hard to have the faith sometimes in "Your Message". Granted a lot of people creae blogs using software and spinning articles with more software. And yes they will get an audience and perhaps sell some products.

And that project will be short lived and then it's on to another one. But with a real person and personality behind the blog, like Jack Humphrey and the Friday Traffic Report. Reader base and business success are more apt to be a long lived reality.

I look forward to reading and following the Friday Traffic Report for as long as the personality keeps me engaged. Keep up the great work.
