You can also check out my new site at 100bestsocialnetworksites.com. In beta version at the moment. Note re: Alexa you can also try compete.com. Both are flawed and web popularity data isn't free in the packaging that you normally want for developing (i.e top 100,000 sites).

Thanks for the resource, but I heard that Alexa wasn't a reliable source and that their data is flawed.

We can judge the popularity of these sites by seeing their ranking in http://www.alexa.com/data/d... Alexa. Orkut has been steadily rising on the Alexa charts but MySpace is still significantly bigger than Orkut.com.
